How this software uses your image
Face Touch Alert uses your camera feed only inside your browser so the detection libraries can estimate face and hand positions and trigger an alert when your hand gets close to your face.
What happens to your camera image
Your live camera image is processed locally on your device. The app uses browser-based video processing libraries to analyze motion and landmarks in real time. The software does not upload your camera feed to a server, store photos, or record video files.
What data is kept
The app stores only simple alert-related values in your browser, such as alert timestamps, volume choice, and the selected sound. This helps the dashboard and controls remember your recent activity and settings.
What data is not collected
- No account data
- No uploaded camera images or videos
- No cloud storage of your face or hand data
- No external analytics about your personal alert history
Your control
You can stop detection at any time by pausing the system or closing the page. Because data stays in the browser, clearing your browser storage removes the locally saved alert history and settings.
